15th Annual Adopt a Family for Christmas

For the past 15 years Grandparents On The Move Inc (GOTMO) has been helping low-income grandparents and caregivers to provide their children with a Christmas that every child deserves. Coats, boots and socks are the #1 items that are needed for both children and their guardians. We believe that providing children with some Christmas wish items are just what is needed to make their Christmas complete. Each year the number of families we help continues to grow. Last year for 2022 with the help from The Detroit Free Press, Toys for Tots, Variety Kids, Target, Firekeepers, and the wonderful community members we were able to provide 92 children with an unforgettable Christmas. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we will not host our annual Christmas Celebration, but we will still provide as many children as we can with gifts for Christmas. The location will be determined at a later date, but your help is needed to make this possible again.
