So Much to Look Forward To

There will come a day when life is going to get much better.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

– Revelation 21:4 ESV

One day the challenges of this life will no longer exist. In that day, there will be no dying and no crying. God will dwell with you and His glory will be so bright you will not need the sun. It is difficult to picture this, but stop and try to imagine just for a moment.

Imagine life with God’s glory as the light and no sorrow or pain.

In Christ, you will dwell in a new heaven and a new earth, and all your sorrows will be gone. It is worth the wait. It is worth hanging on and trusting Him to get through the struggles. When you know He is not only with you – helping you along the way – and He has wondrous plans that you can only imagine right now.

Hang on to your Lord. Hang on to the truth of His words and watch expectantly for the day when all things are made new.
