Holiday Reentry Healing Circle
December 30 @ 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
FreeNation Outside, Tap Roots, Humanity for Prisoners, and Friends of Returning Citizens are putting on a Holiday Reentry Healing Circle on Monday, December 30th from 12-2pm at the Fledge 1300 Eureka Street Lansing.
This is to recognize and celebrate the transition from prison life to civilian life and the beginning of the reentry process. We will be celebrating second chances, self improvement, the possibilities of the new year, forgiveness of mistakes, and letting go of the past.
The holidays are meant to be a happy time with friends and family, but it can be a very depressing time for people that don’t have any friends and family. Get established with the reentry community and find warmth, understanding, forgiveness, acceptance, and develop a positive outlook on your future and the new year.
You can RSVP at https://mailchi.mp/7887df635e1e/taproot or just come! Free food will be provided. Free to attend!
