Adam McNutt

Hey! I’m Adam and it’s good to meet you! While my last name, McNutt, isn’t as unique or cool as Kankelfritz, it still gets a few double takes.

I grew up in southwest Michigan between Holland and Grand Rapids (Bottom left on your right hand). I was homeschooled 6-12th Grade and was an only child for 14 years until my 3 younger brothers came along all within 4 years of each other. Talk about a true home-economics class but couldn’t imagine life without them!

I was Blessed with getting into radio at just 18 years old through a local Christian Michigan-based station back in 2009. Just a few hours a week to start but was excited for anything I could get.

That’s about when I was 18, while I had been going to church and taught about Jesus my whole life, my realization to have a personal and full relationship with Him really hit me. Been trying to grow with and in Him ever since.

After 10 years in radio, God called me to full time youth pastoring at my (then) home church for middle and high school students in Holland, MI. I can still faintly smell axe body spray to this day…..

While thinking I was done with radio, early in 2024, I felt the nudge to use my voice again in some way. Little did I know just 6 months later God would call me to Tucson, Arizona to join with Family Life Radio to once again jump back into the Christian radio scene on the morning show as their producer and could not be more grateful for it. (I wonder too if He knew internally, I’m a preferred warm weather guy and those frigid upper Midwest winters had run their course).

My interests include Jesus, cheeseburgers, anything outdoors, quality time with friends and family, and a good dad joke from time to time.
