God Shines through Brokenness

You carry something sacred inside you. God placed His power in you because He delights in using you just as you are. He doesn’t cover up your cracks but shines through them.

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
– 2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT

Your life, marked by God’s mercy, strengthened through the places where you’ve been hurt, or where things fell apart, illuminates with the beauty of Christ and His commitment to you. He placed His light in you so His strength would stand out. Your weaknesses create space for others to see what God is building in and through you.

Maybe you’ve wondered if your broken places push God away. They don’t. He knows your pain and is with you in the struggle. He moves in close and starts healing. When you rise after a fall, when you keep trusting Him through disappointment, you reflect the goodness of a God who restores.

Your setbacks don’t sideline you—they spotlight God’s strength.

When you admit you don’t have it all together, you’re giving the Holy Spirit space to move and guide you. Trust the One who holds you. Learn to lean into His grace. Every time you bounce back, you’re proving God is still faithful and still writing something good in you.

Let your brokenness and scars shine. They’re not signs of failure, but evidence of healing. And through every crack and scar, His glory breaks through, unmistakable and radiant.

Today’s One Thing
Speak this out loud: “God’s power shines through me. My cracks make space for His glory, and my setbacks become a stage for His strength.”
