What Happens When You Trust God?
True Stories of God’s Provision
Have you ever felt that nudge to give—but hesitated, wondering if you’d have enough left afterward? Generosity can feel risky when life already feels stretched. But God’s Kingdom works so much differently that we naturally think.
Throughout Scripture, God shows us that when we trust Him with what we have, He multiplies what we give. “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10 ESV).
The Bible is filled with moments when someone gave what they had—and God made it more than enough.
- The boy with five loaves and two fish.
- The widow of Zarephath who gave her last handful of flour.
- The Shunammite woman who built a room for Elisha and was later blessed with a child.
- The poor widow who placed two coins in the temple offering—worth almost nothing, yet praised by Jesus as giving more than anyone else.
Again and again, when we give in faith, God responds with abundance. He still provides. He still makes much of what we surrender to Him.

When Faith Gives First
Julio shared that he was homeless, living in his vehicle, when he gave his last four dollars to honor his brother.
“Friends, I live in my vehicle and am praying for a breakthrough. I wanna thank you for the inspiration to give today. I believe there are others who will be blessed by this station and so I give.”
Julio’s offering may have seemed small, but it carried great weight in heaven. Like the widow Jesus saw giving two small coins (Luke 21:1–4), God delights in the heart that trusts Him to provide.
When Gratitude Overflows
Kristen called to tell us: “I doubled my giving because of the impact you are having on my daughter.”
Her gift is a picture of worship through gratitude. When God touches our families, generosity becomes a joyful response—an overflow of love and thanksgiving.

When Hope Takes a Stand
Melanie said, “I’m contributing to the Word of God getting out there for people to hear and feel. Although we still see evil, I know God has won this war. This station is the cavalry on the front lines.”
Her words remind us that giving isn’t only financial—it’s spiritual warfare. Every act of generosity becomes a declaration of faith that light will overcome darkness.
When God’s Goodness Restores
Sue’s story let us know that God is at work. “I am giving today because God has been so good to me—I tried to take my own life but Jesus saved me.”
And Gene said, “I lost my wife in June after 45 years of marriage. I started listening to Family Life Radio and became a believer.”
Their stories reflect how God redeems brokenness. When we give from a place of healing or grief, it becomes an offering of trust—a way of saying, “God, I believe You’re still good.”
God Still Multiplies
Each of these true stories from our listeners reminds us that what we place in God’s hands never stays small. Whether it’s a few dollars, a simple act of kindness, or a heartfelt prayer, He multiplies every seed of faith into something greater than we can imagine.
When you give, you become part of His story. God’s provision flows through you to reach others—and often back to you in ways only He can orchestrate.
