Above All, Love
The clearest sign of a life anchored in Christ is your expression of love that reaches beyond boundaries.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
— 1 Peter 4:8 NKJV
Lois from New Mexico has come to understand 1 Peter 4:8 more deeply as she’s grown in her faith. Raised in the Catholic Church, Lois still attends there, but over time, her walk with God has led her to something deeper than tradition: a love-rooted relationship with Jesus.
“It’s not about denomination,” she shares. “It’s about being a Christian—above all else—and loving one another.”
There’s wisdom in those words, forged through experience and a heart that seeks God. For Lois, love isn’t a concept—it’s a calling. It’s how she listens to others, how she encourages them to know Christ, and how she gives generously so more people can hear the hope she’s found.
Love is the very heartbeat of a life lived for Christ.
“I don’t know where I’d be without Family Life Radio,” she says. “You can find strength with God! Just receive Him, friends—because He is our awesome God!”
When we put love first, everything else falls into place. Real love moves us. It reaches across differences. It builds bridges instead of walls. And in a world growing colder, love stands out.
Maybe you’ve felt pulled in different directions—by opinions, expectations, or even the voices of comparison. God is asking you to simply love well.
Love above all.
Love beyond boundaries.
Love with your whole heart.
