Pick a Peck for People
Sunday, November 1st: 20th Annual PICK A PECK FOR PEOPLE. God has blessed us with apples to harvest. From 1-4 pm come pick and fill a bag of apples for those in need and receive a complimentary hayride or corn maze ticket. Come dressed for the weather. This event is free of charge. All apples picked are donated to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, Believer’s Christian Church Food Bank in Grand Ledge, area St. Vincent DePaul Food Banks, PW Protect Life, IM Kids 3rd Meal, and Community Table of Albion, who will have trucks on hand to haul away all the apples that you pick. This is a great family or group event. Turn in your full bags of apples and Family Life Radio will give you a complimentary corn maze and tractor wagon ride tickets. PRO TIP: Wagons are provided, if you have your own, you may bring as it may be helpful to your group . No other supplies are needed.
