Equally Yoked Christian Singles Beach Day – Brighton
Pack a picnic lunch and join other Christian singles for a day at the lake!
Equally Yoked is a Metro Detroit-based group seeking to create spaces for practicing Christians who are single in southeast Michigan to meet and connect in-person as well as foster relationships in accordance with 2 Corinthians 4:16.
Join other Christian singles for some fun in the sun with the Son (aka Jesus)! We are going to have a day at the beach on Saturday, July 11 at a lake in Brighton from noon to 3 p.m. Bring a picnic lunch and your swimsuit, and let’s have a fun afternoon of fellowship.
You will receive via email the exact location of the park in Brighton where the event is being held one week before the event. A Michigan State Recreation Pass is required for entrance of the location. You may have purchased the pass when you registered your car with the state, or you can purchase one for $16.
Otherwise, there is not a direct cost to participate, but we do ask attendees each donate a single unopened bottle of water for the Baldwin Center, a Christian-founded nonprofit in Pontiac that runs a soup kitchen/food distribution center. You will check-in with the event host with a legal photo I.D.
Participation in this fellowship event is not limited to a specific age range. You are not required to be a member of a particular church or denomination, though we ask attendees are a part of a church to be plugged into a faith community.
