Equally Yoked Christian Singles Country Dance Night

Join us at a Christian-owned studio for a night of line dance lessons, open dance, and fellowship with other single believers.
Equally Yoked is a Metro Detroit-based group seeking to create spaces for practicing Christians who are single in southeast Michigan to meet and connect in-person as well as foster relationships in accordance with 2 Corinthians 6:14.
Grab your cowboy boots and hat, and join other Christian singles on the dance floor at the Christian-owned Dance New York studio in Canton Township. We’re crashing their monthly country night on Saturday, September 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring line dance lessons, an open dance floor welcome to line and partnered dances, and time to mix and mingle. No experience necessary!
NEW: Registration has been split into two age groups — Under 40 and 40+. There also is a simpler registration form for previous Equally Yoked participants.
You are not required to be a member of a particular church or denomination, though we ask attendees are a part of a church to be plugged into a faith community.
Dance New York is generously offering us a discount to partake in the event for $10 per person, which you will pay when you arrive that evening. You’ll also receive a wristband to designate you’re with Equally Yoked.
Country or western garb is highly encouraged, though not required. The studio can get pretty hot through the evening, so we recommend dressing in layers and modest, comfortable clothing that you can move and groove in. Bring a water bottle, too. Showing a legal photo I.D. will be required to participate.
The event itself is open to the public, but is reserved for ages 18+. Please note secular music will be played, and we don’t have control over the playlist.
This event will NOT include speed dating.
