Blessing of the Animals (Roswell)
On Saturday, October 3 from 10:30-Noon, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will host their third annual Blessing of the Animals at Cahoon Park. We’ll be in a new location on the west-side corner of Union and Riverside. We’ll have a service, individual pet blessings, and a memorial for pets who passed this year. Dogs should be leashed and smaller animals are probably safest in crates. If your pet companions get too stressed to come in person, bring a photo and we’ll bless them that way. Each animal will receive a medal and a blessing card. There will be water and treats for the pets and cold water and cookies for humans. All creatures great and small are welcome!
