For me and my family, Christmas is a time to pause and reflect. And this year, I’ve been thinking about something simple—but powerful: the power of a word.
If you could choose just one word to describe this season, what would it be?
- Maybe it would be joyful.
- Maybe holiday.
- Maybe family.
- Or maybe it would be pain.
- Maybe regret.
Whatever comes to mind, your word tells a story. It gives insight into where you are—and maybe where God is inviting you to go next.

One of the things we’re doing in our Intentional Living Christmas Special is helping people choose not just a word for the holidays, but a word for the new year.
