Back on My Feet, Still in His Hands

God walks with you through every season. He provides what you need, restores what was lost, and reminds you that you’re never out of His care.

“The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.”
— Psalm 145:14 NKJV

Jamie from Michigan, shared how God carried her through a season that changed everything.

“Family Life Radio has been amazing… I’ve given in the past, but I went through cancer, lost my job, and had to stop [giving]. Family Life Radio was with me through all of that.”

God met Jamie right where she was—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through songs, scripture, and voices of encouragement, He reminded her: “You’re still in My hands.”

When that season passed and her footing returned, Jamie responded with joy: “I’m back on my feet now and wanted to start giving again.”

Restoration is so much more than just surviving hard things. It’s coming through them with a deeper awareness of God’s faithfulness.

When God restores, you’ll find yourself standing again, secure in His care.

The Lord wants to be your reliable strength. Imagine Him holding, lifting, and sustaining you through whatever difficulty you’re in right now.

Jamie’s journey reflects that kind of care. Each day, God met her with exactly what she needed. Now she lives generously—not because things are perfect, but because she knows who held her through it all.

Today, wherever you find yourself, remember God is present. He’s making a way for you to rise up stronger than before.

Today’s One Thing
Reflect on one season where you saw God provide—emotionally, financially, or spiritually. Then take a small step today to encourage someone else who might be in that place now.
