Don’t Forget Who You Are
The world’s greatest artists —da Vinci, Michelangelo, or even Sam Butcher—capture glimpses of God’s beauty in their creations. Their work inspires awe, yet you are God’s true masterpiece. His fingerprints rest on your life, shaping you with care, love, and eternal purpose.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.
– 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
When you accept Christ as Lord, He forgives your sin and restores your true identity. You were made for more than comparison and striving, or performance. You are God’s creation, handcrafted with purpose and grace that the world can’t define or diminish.
God formed your real identity in security, compassion, and truth. Jesus’ life revealed what perfect unity with the Father looks like, and when you belong to Him, that same restoration lives in you.
The world may try to label you, but those lies lose their power when you remember Who created you. In Christ, you’re renewed from the inside out, defined by His love not other’s expectations. Your life is about reflecting the One who called you His own.
You are God’s masterpiece—crafted by His hands, restored by His grace.
You are God’s workmanship, formed intention. The same voice that spoke light into darkness now speaks identity over you. Jesus rebuilds what sin tried to destroy—restoring confidence where fear ruled and peace where doubt lingered. Every day you believe His truth; your past loses power. You become a living reflection of His grace, love, and redemption.
Your value is beyond measure—redeemed by the King’s own ransom. You are chosen, renewed, and set apart for His purpose. When the noise of the world tries to tell you otherwise, quiet your heart and let Christ’s truth speak louder. You belong to Him, and He delights to call you His.
Today’s One Thing
Thank God for making you new in Christ. Say aloud, “I am His masterpiece, fully loved, completely restored, and forever His.
