Go Tell the Good News

The resurrection of Jesus split history in two, turning sorrow into joy, despair into hope, and fear into boldness. When the women arrived at the empty tomb, they didn’t expect to find victory. But an angel’s message shattered their grief—”He is risen!” This information wasn’t meant to be kept silent. The disciples were called to go and tell, and you are also called to do the same today. The resurrection is a living hope that transforms hearts, and God has entrusted you with it.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
– Mark 16:15 ESV

Sharing this hope doesn’t always come easy. You may feel uncertain or worried that you won’t have the right words. But the power of the resurrection doesn’t depend on your ability—it rests in the truth of who Jesus is. When He sent His followers to proclaim the gospel, He didn’t leave them to figure it out alone. He promised His presence, His Spirit, and His authority. That same promise belongs to you.

Consider what the resurrection means for those who don’t yet know Jesus. Without Him, people search for peace in places that will never satisfy them. They carry burdens they were never meant to bear. They long for a love that will not fail. We have been called to share the risen Christ, and you have been given the opportunity to do so. Your words don’t need to be polished or dramatic. Your testimony is not debatable—it’s what Christ has done for you. A simple message holds more power than you realize.

Jesus is alive, and He has changed my life.

When hesitation tempts you to stay quiet, remember the first witnesses of the resurrection. They didn’t know everything, but they carried a message too powerful to keep silent. The same Spirit that empowered them lives in you. Speak the truth with boldness and love.

Jesus defeated sin and death. His resurrection is the most significant news the world has ever received. Why would you keep this excitement to yourself? Go and tell, the Spirit will help you.

Today’s One Thing
Ask God to give you opportunities to share His gospel and declare, “I am called to share the good news and hope of Jesus Christ.”
