Hands, Feet, and Words of Jesus
You have the chance to be part of something bigger than yourself—something alive, purposeful, and eternal. When you accepted Christ as Savior, He gave you an active role to serve, move, and reach others for Christ. The Church isn’t just a building or a nice facility; it’s you. The Church is all believers, knitted together by grace and called into action. That calling isn’t abstract—it’s real.
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
– 1 Corinthians 12:27 ESV
When Jesus walked the earth, He healed the sick, brought hope and encouragement, and His presence changed lives. Before ascending into Heaven, He gave the Holy Spirit to all believers to help, guide, comfort, and empower. With His Spirit, you’re equipped to reflect Jesus to the world. Whether it’s a neighbor who needs kindness, a co-worker longing for encouragement, or a stranger looking to see love in action—you can show up. You become His hands when you serve, His feet where you go, and His heart when you care deeply for someone who feels overlooked.
You’ve been made to show Christ to the world with your hands, feet, and words.
You belong to something beautifully interconnected—created and designed by God. Some believers plant seeds of faith, some water them, some pray, some cook, some build, and some quietly show up with a listening ear. God uses all of it. You don’t have to perform grand acts to matter in the Kingdom. You just need to say yes to the Holy Spirit, who equips you, strengthens you, and gives you eyes to see where love needs to go next.
Don’t underestimate what He can do through your ordinary faithfulness. You don’t need a grand entrance or a stage to make a difference. You just need to be available. When you act in love, God multiplies the impact. Someone’s heart can be softened. Someone’s life can take a turn toward hope. When you follow the Spirit’s lead, Jesus works through you to love and strengthen others.
Today’s One Thing
Ask God for His direction and affirm, “I am a living part of Christ’s body—empowered by His Spirit, equipped for His service, and committed to showing His love to others.”
