In the Quiet, In-between Place
When anxiety takes over and peace feels out of reach, God doesn’t leave you stuck. He walks with you—and He protects your mind with His perfect peace.
With perfect peace you will protect those whose minds cannot be changed, because they trust you.
– Isaiah 26:3 GW
Leanna Crawford reached a breaking point. “I wasn’t sleeping… I couldn’t even write a song… and I didn’t want to admit I needed help.” (15:11:08–15:12:32) Anxiety had stolen her rest, her creativity, and her sense of stability. But God wasn’t done.
On the outside, Leanna smiled. But inside, she was falling apart. It took her sister’s loving challenge to finally send that email and step into counseling.
When anxiety takes over and peace feels out of reach, God will protect your mind with His perfect peace.
Healing began in small moments: honest tears, steady support, and scripture she clung to—like Isaiah 26:3. God didn’t ask her to have it all together. He simply asked her to trust Him.
That journey became “Still Waters”—a song written from the quiet in-between place where healing takes hold. It’s not about rushing out of the storm. It’s about walking with the One who calms it.
If you’re barely holding on today, you’re not alone. God sees you, and He hasn’t changed. Let Him meet you right where you are and protect your mind with His peace.
Today’s One Thing
Pause and pray Isaiah 26:3 aloud. Ask God to steady your mind and help you trust Him more deeply.
