Remember What’s True
God knows exactly what you need. Malachi 4 offers simple instruction to bring you back to solid ground: remember what God has already spoken.
“Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.”
— Malachi 4:4 ESV
God’s Word is a safe place to land when life feels full. Life and the way we live today can pull us off course. We’re juggling schedules, carrying people, making decisions, managing emotions—sometimes all before breakfast. And in the middle of that, God simply invites you to come back to solid ground found in His Word.
One truth remembered can reset your whole day and your heart.
Remember what God has said.
Remember what He values.
Remember the way He leads His people with wisdom and love.
“Remember” is practical. It sounds like opening scripture and letting it shape your next response. It’s choosing truth over the swirl of what-ifs. It becomes one small act of obedience that keeps your heart soft and your steps clear.
You don’t have to overhaul your whole life to take a real step with God today. You can start with one remembered truth—one verse, one promise, one instruction—and build from there. God builds that kind of faith in you the same way—small, faithful, and one step at a time.
Today, let “remember” be your reset. God meets you in one verse, one choice, one faithful step—and He strengthens you as you walk.
Today’s One Thing
Choose one short verse you already know. Say it out loud three times today (morning, midday, evening). Let it shape your thoughts.
