Rewrite Your Routine

Have you ever wondered how Jesus stayed grounded in His mission despite the constant demands on Him? From healing crowds to teaching His disciples, His days were full. Yet, even in the busyness, Jesus prioritized prayer.

Very early the next morning before daylight, Jesus got up and went to a place where he could be alone and pray.
– Mark 1:35 CEV

Mark 1:35 gives us a glimpse into His rhythm—rising early, stepping away from distractions, and connecting with the Father. It’s no accident that this moment is recorded in scripture. Jesus’ prayer life was His lifeline. And it can be yours too.

Consistency in prayer comes by prioritizing what matters most—making space to meet with God.

You can have a more consistent prayer life by rewriting your routine. Maybe it’s waking up a few minutes earlier to pray before the chaos of the day begins. Or perhaps it’s setting aside time during lunch or before bed to reflect and reconnect with God.

A consistent prayer life starts with intentionality. Let’s follow Jesus’ example and make prayer a part of our daily rhythm. Start small, stay intentional, and trust that God will meet you there.

Today’s One Thing
Pray: Lord, thank You for showing me the power of a consistent prayer life through Jesus’ example. Help me to build a rhythm that brings me closer to You. Teach me to prioritize prayer, even when life feels busy. I trust that You will meet me every time I turn to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
