Strength in the Struggle
Some days, staying strong in your faith feels easy. Other days, it feels like a battle just to keep believing. But in every season—whether strong or struggling—God stays close.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. — Psalm 138:3 NKJV
Joshua from Arizona knows what that feels like. His words are simple, honest, and deeply relatable. “I struggle in my walk with Christ daily, but this station keeps me from getting discouraged.”
Whether he’s in his work truck, personal vehicle, or listening through the app at his job, Joshua keeps God’s truth close. Why? Because he knows how easily discouragement can creep in. And he’s found a steady voice of encouragement, always pointing him back to Christ. “This station is a blessing,” he says. “I’m glad to have it to listen to.”
Sometimes strength is simply a quiet “yes” to God in the middle of a hard day.
God doesn’t always take the struggle away—but He meets us in it. He strengthens us within it. The boldest faith is often found in just choosing daily not to give up.
Maybe today your walk feels heavy. Maybe you’ve been discouraged by your own shortcomings or circumstances. If so, take heart. God hasn’t moved. His Word still speaks. His presence is with you in the middle of the mess.
Like Joshua, you can choose to keep truth in front of you. You can fill your heart with reminders of who God is—even if it’s through a song on the radio, a verse in your earbuds, or a whisper of prayer on your lunch break.
He sees your effort. He honors your perseverance. And He promises to strengthen you.
Today’s One Thing
Choose one way to intentionally invite God into your workday or routine—listen to a worship song, read one verse, or pause to pray during a break. Small moments can spark big hope.
