The Promise of Life and Celebration

Jesus spoke often about eternal life during His final conversations with His disciples. Through His Word, He made clear that life with Him begins now. You live it as you remain connected to Him like a branch to a vine (John 15:1-11). You experience it as you receive His peace and trust His promises.

“Soon, the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.”
– John 14:19 NLT

Jesus spoke often about eternal life during His final conversations with His disciples. Through His Word, He made clear that life with Him begins now. You live it as you remain connected to Him like a branch to a vine (John 15:1-11). You experience it as you receive His peace and trust His promises.

The Father authored your salvation long before you recognized your need. Jesus secured it through His sacrificial love and victorious resurrection. The Holy Spirit now breathes assurance into your heart, reminding you that you belong to God and that your future is secure. Eternal life is rooted in the living Christ, who conquered the grave, restored Peter after failure, welcomed Thomas in his doubt, and commissioned His followers with purpose.

Eternal life begins now and shapes how you live today.

Jesus assured His followers that He would never abandon them. He prayed for them, sent them to tell the good news, and empowered them to do miracles. He does the same for you. Your eternal life fuels courage in ordinary conversations, integrity in hidden moments, and generosity when no one applauds.

Live today with eternity in sight and the anticipation of a celebration. Pursue God’s will with confidence, knowing your future rests in His hands. Believe in Jesus’ promises to transform your perspective, give you confidence, and secure your hope.

Today’s One Thing
