Unfailing Love
Even the most enduring human love can sometimes falter, leaving us feeling isolated or unworthy. But there is a love that never fails, a love that is not based on our performance or circumstances: God’s love.
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness, I have drawn you.”
– Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV
God’s love is active, unshakeable, and personal. He doesn’t love us because we’ve earned it or because we always get it right. His love stems from His character—faithful, enduring, and constant. We don’t have to wonder if God will be there for us; He’s already drawn us close with His lovingkindness, regardless of our shortcomings.
God’s love for you is unwavering and eternal, not based on your perfection but on His.
We often tie our worth to how well we’re doing—at work, in relationships, or even in our spiritual walk. We feel close to God when we’re “on track” and distant when we stumble. But God’s love doesn’t hinge on our successes or failures. It’s the bedrock of our lives, solid and dependable.
When doubt or discouragement creeps in, let Jeremiah 31:3 be your powerful reminder: God’s love for you actively draws you near, regardless of where you find yourself today.
