Rescued Into the Kingdom of His Light

Salvation is a lived reality—something you carry into everyday life. In Christ, you’ve been brought into a new way of living, marked by freedom, forgiveness, and belonging.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”
—Colossians 1:13 NKJV

Some days call for a reminder of where you stand. Not because you’re failing—but because life feels busy, loud, and demanding, and it’s easy to forget what’s already true.
Colossians gives you steady ground: God has delivered you, and He has brought you in.

Salvation places you in the kingdom of Jesus—and you live from that place every day.

Paul uses intentional language here. God delivered you, and He conveyed you. Those words describe personal action. God stepped toward you and moved you into the kingdom of His Son.

That means your life now unfolds under Jesus’ loving rule. You’re guided by grace. You’re strengthened by forgiveness. You belong in a kingdom shaped by love, not fear.

Colossians 1:14 completes the picture, adding redemption and forgiveness. You’ve been claimed and restored. You’ve been forgiven—fully and freely.

So, as you move through today—your conversations, your decisions, your responsibilities—you do so as someone already welcomed, already covered, and completely held.
Salvation secured your future, but it also established your footing for today.

You live from a place of belonging. Today, let that truth steady your heart and shape your next step.

ONE THING

Pause once today and say: “I live in the kingdom of Jesus.” Then ask, “What does that invite me to choose right now?”
