Your Name Is Known
When someone speaks your name with love and purpose, it stirs something deep within you. When you give your life to Christ and accept Him as your Lord, your name is written in the Book of Life. Jesus calls you by name as His very own.
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
– John 10:3 NLT
Jesus described Himself as the Shepherd who calls each of His sheep by name and leads them forward. He knows precisely who belongs to Him and whose name is written in His Book. His voice stirs something deep within you because your soul was created to recognize Him. Even when your confidence wavers, His presence reminds you that you are seen and cherished.
You can find comfort in knowing He never forgets your name. His call can come during your morning routine, in the middle of a busy day, or during times of worship. He continually reaches for you, guiding you toward the abundant life He promised. The Shepherd stays near, leading you with patience, grace, and an unfailing love.
Jesus calls your name because you belong to Him.
When you respond to His voice, you move from knowing about Him to truly experiencing Him. Pursuing Jesus means listening, trusting, and following Him, even when the path feels uncertain.
You are fully known and completely loved. Every time Jesus speaks your name, it’s a reminder just how much your life matters to Him. Let His voice bring peace to your heart. Follow the One who knows your story and loves you more than you can imagine.
Today’s One Thing
Praise God for His Son, and let Jesus know, “Jesus, You know my name, my heart, and my purpose. I will follow Your voice with confidence, knowing I am fully known and deeply loved.”
