A Peaceful Habitation’s 15th Annual Community Appreciation and Fundraising Gala

Get ready to Praise the town with Motown! We are excited to invite you to our annual gala at the Sheraton Hotel, 2600 Louisiana Blvd. NE. Tickets include lunch, entertainment, music, a raffle for goodies, testimonies, and a silent auction. Logan Rader, producer and host of KRQE’s morning show, will be our special Master of Ceremonies.

A Peaceful Habitation is a 501(c)3 and our sole mission is to provide reentry services and resources to women who are seeking to transform their lives with Christ after incarceration. We provide six months of housing at Donna’s House together with 12-step supportive groups and life skills workshops. Most of the women we have have suffered domestic violence, childhood trauma, substance addictions, and the consequences of bad choices and decisions. We enlighten them by sharing our love of Christ, encourage them with unconditional love, and empower them by providing life skills and tools to assist them with their transition. During their stay at Donna’s House, women reach their goals for employment, education, and establish themselves as productive members of society. The women also develop strong relationships within their home churches and are a part of a church community. We serve women from all over the state of New Mexico and will also serve women from other states.
