Blessing of the Animals
In the spirit of St. Francis, churches have honored his example of caring for all creation with a service of blessing of the animals around his feast day, which takes place on October 4th. Once again this year, MVLC will take part in this practice of blessing animals. Bring your well-behaved pet, or a picture of your pet, for a special blessing.
