Community Interfaith Vigil for Humanity – To Recognize and Rekindle the Sacred Light in One Another Amidst the Chaos and Darkness

Mt. Pleasant faith leaders invite the public to a community interfaith prayer vigil October 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Town Center on the corner of Main and Broadway streets. Titled Community Interfaith Vigil for Humanity – To Recognize and Rekindle the Sacred Light in One Another Amidst the Chaos and Darkness, the vigil is designed to find common ground and provide comfort to people who may be hurting. A group of Mt. Pleasant faith leaders, including St. John’s Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church and Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Michigan and Indivisible Central Michigan planned the prayer vigil in light of many people hurting in our country and throughout the world. They saw a need to find common ground and come together to show a collective humanity and lift up those experiencing difficult times, to show that all are loved and worthy.
