Help us welcome author, public speaker, and founder of UNAFRAID Eddie Penney, as well as two additional guest-speaking couples with military backgrounds, who will share their stories of working through the emotional pain and life adjustments experienced after significant loss of life and how grace, healing, and hope are still possible through the cross.

Whether a person is grieving, facing struggles such as PTSD and depression, or supporting someone who is, this is a safe and welcoming space to listen, learn, and find encouragement. Our hope is to bring light to the dark places and hope where there is hopelessness.

This multi-tiered, weekend event includes an evening dedicated to supporting our local active duty military, U.S. veterans, and first-responders through a live public speaking engagement in Clovis, NM. Attendees will hear the personal testimony of Eddie Penney, popular for his interview on the Shawn Ryan Show Ep. 43, and prominently known for his time served on SEAL team six. Secondly, a panel discussion will occur the following morning focused on encouraging those who support others as they walk through the pain of grief, loss of life, and mental health struggles associated with trauma, and how our strength can be found in God’s grace. Then, Eddie Penney will join us for a youth rally Saturday evening to talk with area teens, parents, and youth pastors about the realities of trying to find our true identity, the one God gave us, in a world that is constantly trying to redefine us.

We will end the weekend with a Sermon titled “Living with the Why” presented by guest pastor Dennis Call, one of the panel discussion speakers, on Sunday morning. This sermon will be available to the public on our Facebook page. The event will be live streamed on Sunday morning and available later as a recording.
