Ladies’ Day

with Shannon Popkin

From the platform, page, and podcast mic, Shannon Popkin invites you to drink deeply of God’s story, and live like it’s true. Shannon’s books include Control GirlComparison GirlKinda Judgy (Moody, 2026), and Shaped by God’s Promises. Shannon also hosts the Live Like It’s True Bible podcast and has been featured on Revive Our Hearts, FamilyLife Today, Risen Motherhood, The Gospel Coalition, and Proverbs 31.

Shaped by God’s Promises

God makes promises, and he keeps his promises. But often there’s a long stretch of waiting between the two that we weren’t anticipating. This was true for Abraham and Sarah, who were promised that God would turn their family of two into a nation. After decades of waiting, they wondered, could God keep his promises? Would he?

What impossible thing are you waiting on God for? A broken marriage? A hard-hearted prodigal? A church that’s about to split? Our temptation is often to turn to control and self-reliance, as Sarah did. But God invites you to walk by faith and be shaped by his promises. Come learn why the waiting IS one of the good parts of your story.
