This is an invite-only event that will provide approximately 1\,700 children experiencing homelessness\, displacement\, or other at-risk circumstances with the resources they need to start the school year with confidence and dignity. \nThrough partnerships with 23 school districts stretching from Peoria to Casa Grande\, school counselors and staff identify students and families who are experiencing homelessness\, housing instability\, or significant hardship. These families are invited to attend and receive school supplies\, backpacks\, clothing\, shoes\, haircuts\, and other essential resources at no cost. \nAt Help Now AZ\, our mission is to change the cycle of homelessness through our children by providing immediate aid and comfort\, advancing education and knowledge for those who have found themselves experiencing homelessness\, and promoting awareness that inspires action throughout our community. \nAs long-time listeners of your station\, we have always appreciated the way you encourage faith\, service\, and community involvement throughout the Valley. The tournament is more than just competition — it’s an opportunity to showcase how adaptive technology and community can break barriers and create opportunities for people of all abilities.” \nRocket League and Power Soccer share a common theme of playing soccer in non-traditional ways. However\, Power Soccer is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities\, and players use power wheelchairs. While Rocket League has become a mainstream esports title with a competitive scene and professional players\, Power Soccer has also gained recognition as an adaptive sports game\, with international tournaments and organizations deciding to promote the sport. \nThe virtual tournament is free to enter and pits players against each other in a 3v3 Double Elimination setup.
