They will also get to practice diagnostic and “surgery” skills with some stuffed animal patients\, and report their findings to their fellow participants. This is a more advanced program with reading comprehension and math skill requirements designed for children ages 10-14.

DESCRIPTION:The Bible verse\, John 10:10 states The Thief\, (Evil\, Satan) cometh not\, but to Steel\, and Kill and Destroy. I\, (Jesus) have Come to give Life and Life more abundantly. This verse describes the following True-Life story\, currently happening. My name is Yola\, I am an RN and I have been praying for my Friend Kristen for months. Her husband\, Cheyenne (who was my former patient) died tragically in a motorcycle accident last year. Besides grieving the loss of her Husband\, she has been dealing with a lawsuit from her father-in-law claiming that she was not legally married. He is suing her to take their home\, their business which they brought together as husband and wife. He has slandered her name on Facebook\, which has caused a loss in her business revenue. Due to the Lawsuit\, all funds distributed to run the business are not available to her and she cannot access the account. She had to use her personal finances to run the business. She also has paid her Lawyer\, over $20\,000. Her friends and family have given the Lawyer what they can afford. They are unable to support her financially any further. Currently she is financially devasted\, as well as emotionally and physically. She stands to lose everything she and her husband have worked so hard for years. Her father-in law has denied the fact that Cheyenne’s Stepson Grey\, is not his legal stepson. This has devastated Grey as well; they both Loved each other deeply. Her father-in-law also refused to give Kristen any of Cheyenne’s t which caused her further emotional grief.\nHer Lawyer states\, she has Very good Case. They do agree that she will win this lawsuit. They believe this is a case of Good Against Evil. They want $15\,000 to $20\,000 more by the end of March. One of the owners of Law office has said she will not take her case on as a pro-bono Case\, going forward. Kristen has been very depressed\, and suicidal. I wrote her a prayer and sent it to her via email. The next day I went to church and prayed for her with the minister. The minister’s prayer was very much like the written prayer I wrote to her. Therefore\, that was confirmation that God’s got her back. I told her to put on the whole Armor of God and fight with His Mighty Power. One of Lawyers\, who is part owner of the Law Office and the Lawer who is working with Kristen are Christian. I pray they seek God’s insight in this fight.\nAfter hearing my above prayers\, she has decided to continue to fight with the whole armor of God. She still struggles at times with hopelessness and sinks back into a suicidal mode. Please come together in Prayer with me to agree in Jesus Name\, the Following:\n1. She will feel God’s Love and know that God is on her team. Therefore\, she will Win This Case with the Mighty Power and Wisdom of the only Trinity. WE pray Kristen will get the money that she has already paid out at once.2. Whoever reads This Fund Raiser Prayer\, and feels compelled to donate whatever they can\, will be on the Jesus Team. The Contributor will be very appreciated\, and God will bless the gift giver\, many times over.\n3. The Lawyers will agree to make the case Pro-bono going forward.\nI know This Family\, and I know that Kristen and Cheyenne were Legally married. I have seen the Love they have shared Together. Again\, Thank You so much for your prayers and for the people who are giving to this Fund Raiser. You are both on the Jesus Team to Fight Good against Evil. God is Blessing You as we speak.

DESCRIPTION:Windows of Lent: Reflective Painting Class\nOffered at North Scottsdale United Methodist Church \nNorth Scottsdale United Methodist Church invites the community to a reflective and creative Lenten experience\, Windows of Lent: A Painting Class\, on Sunday\, March 22\, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. \nThis guided painting class invites participants to create an image of a window—a meaningful symbol of light\, hope\, and holy longing. During the season of Lent\, windows encourage us to pause\, look honestly at where we are\, and notice where God’s light is already breaking into our lives. \nThe class will be led by Jana Peterson\, a professional painter known for merging art and technology. Peterson is a contemporary artist with corporate\, national\, and international painting clientele. Her work has been included in the museum collection at Scottsdale Center for the Arts and displayed in fine galleries. She has also been commissioned to paint murals for the Arizona Science Museum and Scottsdale Center for the Arts. \nPeterson’s past exhibitions include Grady Gammage\, West Valley Art Museum (Great Architecture…Inner Visions)\, Herberger Theatre\, Scottsdale Center for the Arts\, Norway’s Marknaden (2006–2022)\, Paradise Valley City Hall (Artist of the Year)\, and a solo exhibit at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Most recently\, her work has been exhibited in Reykjavik\, Iceland\, and at Norway House in Minneapolis\, Minnesota. \n“I want my work to leave an impression—to evoke emotion\, to inspire\, excite\, renew\, and change the inner being\,” Peterson said. She comes from a family of artists and teachers\, bringing both professional depth and a welcoming\, instructional approach to her work. \nNo prior painting experience is required. Participants are encouraged to come just as they are\, ready to create and reflect. All materials are provided. DESCRIPTION:Our culture is broken. One in three women have been molested as children. One in five have had abortions. The domestic violence numbers cannot be quantified because so many endure in silence. Many women and children have suffered great emotional damage even without the physical abuse because of on-going emotional and verbal abuse. \nMany women look to God for answers to their pain. They find a church and sit in the pews week after week still broken\, wounded and hurting having nowhere to go with their pain. Christian communities are often not well equipped to help these women. \nSo\, they put on their mask and suffer in silence. No more! With Psalm 51 Ministries\, women will find healing. They will break the shackles of the shame that binds them. They will then be offered a path where they can train with other women to become mentors and walk beside their sisters offering the same hope and healing\, they have received. It is our vision that every church and Christian organization has Psalm 51 mentors in their congregation\, open and available to walk other women through the process.
