DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 14th\, 2023\, thousands of people will hit the streets and hundreds of cities across the globe to walk in a single file line\, holding posters and handing out fliers- to reach their city with information about human trafficking and how to end it. \nOur group\, Warriors for Freedom\, is partnering with A21 campaign\, which is a global organization that educates and equips everyone to understand identify\, and reduce the risk of human trafficking through programs like educational curriculum\, prevention programs\, and awareness campaigns. \nCheck-in starts at 9 am with the walk to follow. Participants will park in the free parking garage on Chandler Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. It’s located behind\, The Look\, dine-in theater. The group will then meet in the park alongside Arizona Avenue\, off San Marco’s Place\, just to the South of the parking garage. We will walk South on Arizona Avenue to Pecos Road\, then cross to the East Side and walk North to Chandler Boulevard. All participants should come wearing a black T-shirt or purchase one on the a21 website (www.A21.org/walk).

He was based in the Philippines\, flying combat support missions in Vietnam. On a flight to Vietnam his plane was hit and disintegrated in a fireball at low altitude. He ejected and was captured. \nAfter his return to the United States he graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University then was assigned to Williams Air Force Base. The free breakfast is open to the public and begins at 8 a.m. Pearson will speak at 9 a.m. \nPearson was born in Redlands\, Calif.\, and attended the University of Texas. He joined the Navy in 1969 and served as commanding officer of VF-154 Black Knights\, VX-4 Air Test and Evaluation Squadron\, and Naval Air Station Miramar. He accumulated a total of 8\,500 flight hours in tactical aircraft including 66 types of aircraft. His career included 158 combat missions and 820 carrier landings. \nAt the breakfast\, veterans may visit the Veterans Booth to speak with experts for information and helpful resources.
