Coffee is served at 7:30 a.m. and meal service begins at 8 a.m. Mariano will speak at 9 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. \nMariano was born in the Philippines to a Navy steward and his dentist wife. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California\, San Diego\, and her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of Medicine. We are looking for mission minded adults to step into the role of house parenting. \nWe are holding special tours where you can get an inside look at what it is to be a houseparent and get any questions answered for those interested in stepping into this ministry. \nOur mission is to provide a loving\, wholesome\, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures\, preparing them for success in adult life. \nNo child will ever be turned away for financial reasons. Sunshine Acres does not receive government support for the direct care of the children.
