This event helps fund and sustain Teen Challenge to help men and women who have battled with addiction\, help them overcome addiction with the love of Jesus. The Teen Challenge recovery facilities are open at no cost for men\, women\, who are struggling with life-controlling problems (such as drug and alcohol addiction). Each Teen Challenge center is responsible for raising its own operations budget and each depends upon donations from the private sector. The Walk for Recovery is to raise awareness of the Drug epidemic and also to raise awareness that Teen Challenge can be a resource to be utilize for drug and alcohol treatment.
