DESCRIPTION:Audition for membership in the East Valley Chorale. This choir has singers from more than 50 churches in the Phoenix area\, and has been singing together for 25 years. The chorale presents concerts for care centers\, assisted living facilities\, retirement communities\, churches\, and RV parks in the East Valley. We sing a variety of Christian choral music styles including many hymn arrangements. \nThe East Valley Chorale has recorded 10 CDs and our music can be heard on Pandora\, Spotify\, YouTube\, and other streaming platforms. The chorale includes singers that range in age from 20’s to 80’s. SUMMARY:Living Water Fair Tent – Monroe
DESCRIPTION:Come One\, Come All to the “Living Water Tent” at the Monroe County Fair (Monroe\, MI). During the week of July 29 – Aug 3 from noon – 8 pm\, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) sponsors a Ministry Tent. We provide a glass of cold water to the fair goers (generally it is quite hot this week and everyone is receptive to receiving a cup of cold water). However\, the main purpose is to share the Joy of God’s “Living Water”. Our volunteers eagerly share a free glass of cold water\, welcome the children to play free games for free Christian themed prizes\, offer free Christian literature\, and share God’s love and/or pray with someone that is in need. This tent provides us the opportunity to reach out and share God’s free gift of the water of life to the Monroe community and the thousands of people that attend the annual county fair.

DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Annual Evening of Destiny is a benefit concert to promote awareness on human trafficking locally in Arizona and will also benefit the future home of a local transition program in Prescott for survivors\, Destiny House Restoration Center. Academy Award and Golden Globe Award-winning actress and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Mira Sorvino will be the VIP speaker for this year’s 4th event in Prescott. Ms. Sorvino is best known for Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion\, Mimi\, Lulu on The Bridge\, Sound of Freedom\, and the 2023 season of Dancing with the Stars\, and her work with Amnesty International’s “Stop Violence Against Women” campaign from 2004-2008. She testified before the U.S. Senate on human trafficking and has worked to reform state laws on trafficking. \nThe evening will include a full band concert featuring songs from Lisa Mitts’s upcoming new album with her renowned producer from Washington state\, Brandon Bee.
