Under the leadership of ATC Playwright-in-Residence and NLP Award & Festival Director Elaine Romero\, the award has honored many outstanding works by Latine playwrights who have achieved remarkable success throughout the country. \nATC is partnering with a number of community organizations for the NLP Award & Festival. Monica Villalobos\, president of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce\, is emceeing the event\, and Jerry Ruiz\, Associate Professor at ASU’s School of Music\, Dance\, and Theatre is directing the reading. A one-of-a-kind award crafted by notable Phoenix artist Zarco Guerrero will be presented to Sánchez during the festival. Other partners include Xico and Arizona Mexico Commission. \nLottery Boy features a life transformed by money. At just 15 years old\, Paco suddenly finds himself the winner of one of the largest lottery jackpots ever. But more money means more problems\, more betrayals\, and Paco finds that he is no longer sure which world he belongs in. He goes through the highest highs and the lowest lows as he realizes the only person he trusts isn’t really there. The play cleverly pierces the veil between this world and the next as Paco discovers the true power of his late father’s love.

DESCRIPTION:CELEBRATE RECOVERY (CR) is a Christ-centered peer support recovery program based on the Beatitudes as found in the Gospel of Matthew. No matter your issues from anger\, unforgiveness\, bitterness\, obsessive worrying\, negative thinking to grief\, loneliness\, loss\, or food issues to any sort of addiction including all kinds of online addictions and anything else that is part of the human condition\, CR is a safe confidential\, anonymous community where we find support and healing through the power of the Gospel. Whether you’ve been in church all your life\, were burned in church or are unsure of your relationship with God\, at CR\, by the power\, mercy and grace of God\, we find hope\, help and healing for all our hurts\, habits\, and false beliefs about God\, ourselves or others. come join us any Thursday night. \nFood start at 5:30 with our meetings from 6-8. \nWe meet at the Nazarene Outreach Center (across from Family Dollar) in Richland Center\, WI \n.\nCELEBRATION PLACE(CP) for children 5-13 (nursery also available) meets at the same time so parents can attend CR and to provide fun\, quality programming for children as they learn healthy ways to deal with their hurts to hopefully prevent them from having distorted views of God\, themselves and others and developing unhealthy coping mechanisms and habits. CP meets at the church basement of the Nazarene Church. Enter by the door nearest the Outreach Center. We are a ministry of Grace Community Church and wonderfully supported by the Nazarene Church of Richland Center.
