Titled Community Interfaith Vigil for Humanity – To Recognize and Rekindle the Sacred Light in One Another Amidst the Chaos and Darkness\, the vigil is designed to find common ground and provide comfort to people who may be hurting. A group of Mt. Pleasant faith leaders\, including St. John’s Episcopal Church\, First Presbyterian Church and Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Michigan and Indivisible Central Michigan planned the prayer vigil in light of many people hurting in our country and throughout the world. They saw a need to find common ground and come together to show a collective humanity and lift up those experiencing difficult times\, to show that all are loved and worthy.

Join us on Saturday\, October 11th\, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Papago Golf Club for an unforgettable evening filled with comfort\, storytelling\, local chef demos\, and a silent auction!\nFounded in 2006 by Shannon Goldwater\, Feeding Matters has fervently partnered with families and healthcare professionals to promote awareness and understanding of PFD and ARFID. These conditions significantly affect a child’s ability to eat\, drink\, or digest food\, impacting their health and development. For these children\, eating\, drinking\, and swallowing can be painful and frightening\, affecting their behavioral\, physical\, and emotional well-being.
