And what better way than to enjoy an evening filled with friends\, old and new\, while raising awareness and funds for children with pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)?\nFeeding Matters proudly announces its third annual Feed the Cause: An Arizona Signature Event Supporting Pediatric Feeding Disorder. Join us on Saturday\, October 11th\, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Papago Golf Club for an unforgettable evening filled with comfort\, storytelling\, local chef demos\, and a silent auction!\nFounded in 2006 by Shannon Goldwater\, Feeding Matters has fervently partnered with families and healthcare professionals to promote awareness and understanding of PFD and ARFID. These conditions significantly affect a child’s ability to eat\, drink\, or digest food\, impacting their health and development. For these children\, eating\, drinking\, and swallowing can be painful and frightening\, affecting their behavioral\, physical\, and emotional well-being. Celebrate Recovery of Richland Center is hosting this chili feed to celebrate the 34th anniversary of CR and also to celebrate the opening of Celebration Place\, CR’s kids programming for kids 5-13. (Nursery is also available.) Special Speakers are Loretta and John Monson\, CP and CR representatives from MN. Loretta will share how CP benefits the entire family while John will be sharing on CR’s ministry to Veterans\, Welcome Home. Other speakers will be sharing on CR’s ministry inside jails and prisons\, and how CR supports people with chronic mental and physical health issues. \nCelebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered peer support Recovery Program for anyone struggling with anything from anger\, unforgiveness\, and bitterness to guilt\, fear\, and shame\, to obsessive worrying and negative thinking\, grief and loneliness\, to people pleasing and addictions of all kinds including online addictions to name a few areas that we struggle as humans. Jesus came to set us free and in CR with the Beatitudes as found in Matthew and the entire Bible as our base with our true foundation Jesus Christ\, over 7 million people worldwide have found freedom in Christ. CR is for anyone 18-99 no matter your struggle. We find our healing in this safe community of believers. We meet every Thursday from 6-8 with food at 5:30.
