DESCRIPTION:Genavieve Linkowski is a 26-year-old local musical artist. The oldest of 11 children\, she grew up classically trained in the piano\, violin\, and harp. At the age of 17\, she was invited to be on American idol and finished in the last round of Hollywood week. After losing her sister Corinn in a tragic vehicle accident in 2019\, Genavieve went back on American Idol to tell her story and finished in the top forty. She was a featured artist on “The Mav Way (Reimagined)\,” and participated as an artist in the “Good News Tour” by Maverick City. Her first album was released in January 2025. Her main ambition in life is to use her gifts and talents to bring God glory and inspire her listeners with the truth of the gospel.\nGenavieve will be performing live at Flushing Farms on Saturday\, November 1st\, 4:00-6:00 pm. We strongly recommend that you purchase tickets online\, in advance\, at flushingfarms.com. You will have access to the farm and to Genavieve Linkowski’s performance. From 1-4 pm come pick a bag of apples for those in need and receive a complimentary hayride or corn maze ticket to enjoy the farm! This event is free of charge. All apples picked are donated to the Greater Lansing Food Bank\, Believer’s Christian Church Food Bank in Grand Ledge\, area St. Vincent DePaul Food Banks\, and Community Table of Albion\, who will have trucks on hand to haul away all the apples that you pick. This is a great family or group event. Turn in your full bags of apples and Family Life Radio will give you a complimentary corn maze and tractor wagon ride tickets. PRO TIP: You do not need to bring anything to the event. We do have wagons on hand to help you haul your apples\, but if you wish to bring your own\, it is a good idea as this becomes a hot commodity!

Admission is free\, and everyone is encouraged to sign up\, play or cheer from the stands. \nThe tournament brings together 11 teams so far\, consisting of Arizona’s Cheesecake Factory and North Italia teams\, and for the first time\, a team representing Hope & A Future\, including young adults who have aged out of foster care. \nThe event will begin with opening remarks from Michael Brewer\, founder and CEO of Hope & A Future\, followed by the national anthem performed by one of Hope’s foster youth. Then\, five current and former foster youth will take the field for the ceremonial first pitch. \nGames will be played across five fields\, narrowing down as the tournament progresses. Fans can relax and enjoy a full lineup of activities\, including cornhole\, yard games and a raffle with prizes such as $100\, $50 and $25 gift cards. A new silent auction will feature sports-themed prizes\, including Colorado Rockies Spring Training tickets and festive fall baskets. \nThe event traditionally raises over $10\,000 to fund Hope & A Future’s programs. Additionally\, funds raised directly support their Annual Christmas Party and Gift Drive\, an event that truly means the world to the kids they serve. Many of these youth\, including those currently in foster care or recently adopted\, have never experienced a joyful Christmas before. This event helps make that possible. including their Annual Christmas Party and Gift Drive\, providing gifts\, meals and meaningful holiday experiences to Arizona’s foster care children.

One past family said this about All For Mom’s help: “They had no idea how dark of a pit we had gone into\, and there were these hands reaching down to help. I didn’t know who’s hands they were or who these people were. It was like in that moment God said “You called\, so I answered.
