Through best practice methods\, we are confident that we can foster change and build a network of like-minded individuals and organizations. \nThose who attend will be a part of a daylong event designed to attract individuals\, parents\, business leaders\, counselors\, treatment centers\, social workers\, public health leaders\, and religious communities—anyone who has a loved one or knows someone who has battled with substance use disorder. \nThe conference will feature a variety of elements including recognized feature speakers\, breakout sessions\, interactive activities\, evidence-based research\, and educational and networking opportunities. \nTogether we can impact the substance use crisis through hope and education by unifying the community to be change agents\, to transform lives\, and to take a well-rounded approach to recovery.

Serve Our City is an outreach-focused\, collaborative opportunity where all members of church congregations would participate in various serving projects in place of a worship service on a Saturday or Sunday morning. However\, we may also have afternoon projects available from 1:00-3:00! We are partnering with churches around the city! We would love your church to be involved! You can also bring your rotary club\, business\, friends and family\, school\, or individual! Come help us positively impact Tucson by loving our neighbors without expectations! \nWe will be providing serving opportunities that offer a wide variety of opportunities for all abilities. For example\, some groups may write letters to people who are in care facilities or bake cookies on the church property for a shelter. Other groups may go to the home of a veteran who is deployed or disabled and do yard work or paint the walls of a non-profit in need. Serving projects will include sewing projects\, crafts\, packing supplies\, projects for schools\, and projects located throughout the city. Thank you to Pantano Christian (east side) and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian (north side) for offering to host onsite projects. Special thanks to every other church led by the Lord to participate in some way! \nWe have an amazing team working on setting up projects. If you have a project idea\, we would love to hear about it!
