Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m.\, and Saturday and Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m. \nDoris Walker (Tiff Jensen)\, single mother and practical\, hardworking executive at Macy’s\, does not believe in fairy tales\, fiction\, and she certainly does not want anyone filling her young daughter Susan’s (Sabine Milliken/Odette Soeder) head with romantic ideas of any sort. \nOn the day of the famous “Macy’s Parade\,” a last-minute emergency leaves Doris in a lurch to find a “Santa” for the finale\, but Doris happens upon Kris Kringle (Brian Doig)\, who seems perfect for the part. The congregation will play an active part in the singing of traditional carols such as “O Come\, All Ye Faithful\,” “Joy to the World\,” “Hark the Herald\,” “Silent Night” and many more! You will hear sacred favorites such as “Ave Maria” and Gesu bambino” sung by our guest soprano soloist\, Indra Thomas. You will also hear music by John Rutter. There will be lighting of the candles by children and adults alike. You will want to make this event a yearly Christmas tradition!
