SUMMARY:The 34th Annual Copperstate 1000 Returns to Arizona
DESCRIPTION:The 34th annual Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000\, presented by the Men’s Arts Council\, returns to Arizona\, April 6-10\, 2024. It is one of North America’s most celebrated vintage car road rallies\, showcasing some of the finest working examples of vintage\, sports\, racing\, classic\, and grand touring automobiles manufactured before the 1974 model year. \n“Some of the world’s most unique cars participate in this annual event\,” said Men’s Arts Council President Devin Sreecharana. “Every year\, we look forward to hosting this fun event for participants and car enthusiasts of all ages in our community. We encourage everyone to come out to the event on Sunday\, April 7\, to view the cars\, speak with drivers\, and send them off on the Rally.” \nThe public and fans of all ages can view the cars participating in the Copperstate 1000 before they depart for their journey at the Copperstate send-off event. It will take place at Tempe Diablo Stadium\, located at 2200 W. Alameda Drive in Tempe\, on Sunday\, April 7 beginning at 7:30 a.m. where the vehicles are lined up around the outfield and announced as they begin to depart at 9:30 a.m. \nThere will also be a local car show in the West lot of the stadium from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Local car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their cars for display in the West lot. Coffee and donuts will also be available for purchase in the West parking lot. \nEvery year\, a new route traverses 1\,000 miles of beautiful desert terrain\, river verdant valley\, and alpine landscape across Arizona and beyond. Approximately 80 vintage automobiles participate\, with drivers and co-drivers from the United States\, Canada\, Mexico\, and Europe. The connections created at these rallies often blossom into lifetime friendships\, and many attendees come back year after year. \nThe coming out party each spring for cars suffering from Restless Stable Syndrome over the winter is a site to behold on the beautiful scenic roads of Arizona. This year the Copperstate 1000 has the most impressive selection of European cars. Participation includes 18 Porsches\, 14 Ferrari’s\, 10 Jaguars and a very special 1957 Maserati 250S. The oddest car is a 1938 Czechoslovakian Tatra T97. Participants from 21 states are represented. \n“Each spring for the past 34 years the gathering of wonderful people and unique cars from all over the country grace our beautiful scenic state of Arizona\,” said Scott McPherson\, lead Co-Chairman of the Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000.“The Men’s Arts Council considers it an honor and a privilege to continue the legacy of driving vintage cars and providing the backdrop of Arizona to create lasting memories on the Copperstate 1000.” \nBell Lexus North Scottsdale has been the title sponsor of the Copperstate 1000 for over 20 years and plays an intricate role in the rally’s success. The luxury car dealer lends the special event five brand new vehicles in the event that a rally car is not able to finish.

SUMMARY:Film entitled\, “Letter to the American Church”-Santa Fe
DESCRIPTION:This is a film adaptation of the best-selling book\, “Letter to the American Church” by Eric Metaxas. The film lays out the parallels between 1930’s Nazi Germany and other totalitarian regimes with what is happening in America today and how the Church has been mostly silent facing this evil. The film is a wake-up call to the church to stand up and speak out against the evil that is manifesting in our country. If you love your children\, love your church\, love your country\, this is a must see!

SUMMARY:Multi-Art Retreat with United Adoration – Livonia
DESCRIPTION:Christian Creatives from across southeast Michigan and beyond are invited to gather for two days in Livonia\, Michigan. The Retreat Team will facilitate space for Songwriting\, Visual Art\, and Dance/Flagging. We will experience extended time to pray\, reflect on scripture\, eat meals\, create works of art and worship God in community. The theme of our Spring Retreat is “Rescue.” All ages\, church backgrounds and artistic experience levels are welcome! Anticipate God’s presence to inspire and heal you as you rest in Him.\n\nCost $59\n\n\n\nThe event will go from 5pm – 8:30pm on Friday. Then resume from 8:30am – 4pm on Saturday. If you are an out-of-town guest\, email us to inquire on housing opportunities. \nProvided with Registration: \n– Friday Evening dinner\, Saturday breakfast snacks\, lunch\, and afternoon snacks. Tea & coffee throughout the days. We work to accommodate dietary needs such as gluten / dairy free (you can share information on dietary needs in your registration) \n– An “Inspiration Packet” filled with scripture verses\, artwork\, hymns and prayers based on the theme “Rescue.” \n– Songwriters: there are multiple pianos throughout the building that are available for you to use. You will have access to various rooms throughout the church to create on your own or with others \n– Visual Art Supplies: You will receive one large canvas of your choice (11×14\, 16×20 or 18×24) and one small canvas (5×7 etc.). We have acrylic paints\, brushes\, watercolor paper\, colored pencils\, oil pastels\, chalk pastels\, crayons\, and a limited supply of watercolor paint for use\, plus 10 easels that are adjustable for the floor or tabletop. \n– Dance/Flags: You are encouraged to bring your own supplies\, however we will have some basic flags available for use. \nLocation: His Church Anglican \n34500 Six Mile Rd\, Livonia\, MI 48152 \nEvent Leaders: Ryan Maike (host)\, Natalie Ziemba (host)\, Tracy Belanger (host/Visual Art Leader)\, Tessa Patterson (Songwriting Leader)\, Amy Smith (Dance/Flags Leader) \nSend any of your questions to this email: natalie_ziemba@unitedadoration.com \nFAQ: \nQ: United Adoration hosts monthly\, one-day Detroit Creative Spaces. What is the difference between “Creative Spaces” and a two-day “Multi-Arts Retreat?” \nA: Retreats are a guided journey through scripture\, prayer and your creative process. Our mealtimes provide space to make new friends\, have meaningful conversations and build artistic community. Retreats are an opportunity to have extended personal space with Jesus. In this time\, you can create or receive prayer\, journal\, and talk about what God is doing in your life with fellow artists. Our Leaders are available to serve your needs. The most beloved part of the Retreat is our “Creative Share” at the end. This is a “time of celebration” where we all share our creative expression and testimonies of what God did in you over the weekend. \nLEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: United Adoration is providing opportunities for attendees of 2 Day Retreats to become “Trained Retreat Leaders.” Attending the 2-Day Retreat is a pre-requisite to Leadership Training. If you ONLY attend a One-Day Creative Space it does not qualify you for the Training.

SUMMARY:Don’t Mess With Our Kids
DESCRIPTION:The grassroots #DontMessWithOurKids movement has issued a “Call to the Capitols” — a call to stand and pray at every state capitol and the District of Columbia on April 13\, 2024. The movement states\, “We’ve lost the right to govern our children’s medical care\, the right to raise them up in sexual purity\, the right to worship\, and the right to the freedom of speech. Enough is enough.” They urge the American Church to pray\, fast\, and stand in opposition to these injustices.\n“I am a mom who rescued her 12-year-old little girl from the throes of gender ideology after a secret gender and sexuality club meeting the predators disguised as an art club\,” says one of the event’s organizers\, Erin Lee. “Now I speak truth in the public square and have joined thousands of other mamas who are taking a public stand to protect parental rights and God’s precious children.”\n#DontMessWithOurKids believes strongly in the power of prayer\, and all those who wish to stand and intercede for the nation and its children are invited to attend. The event for MICHIGAN will be held at the steps of the State Capital from 1pm to 3pm and will include prayer\, communion\, and reformation strategies. Attendees are encouraged to wear the colors of the #DontMessWithOurKids flag–pink and blue. For more information and to get involved\, visit dontmesswithourkids.us/capitols.
