Sam Kelly

Sam is a Jesus Girl, wife, special needs mom, joyful heart encourager, good friend who shares His love, tells stories, laughs with her whole self, and cleans the sink strainer when nobody else will.

My Family: 

Husband Carlos – smart, tall, BBQ’s like a boss, loves God, and people. He collects slot cars and sometimes lets me play with them.

Daughter Zoe – Her name means LIFE! She lives “all in” with everything she does. A radiant extrovert, she walks through life leaving a trail of friends. She was born with Down Syndrome. We thought it was a disability, but now we know it is a superpower.

Sons – Anthony, Cameron, and Desmond. They are grownups now. (Sometimes more grownup than we are!)

Puppies – Bonnie and Buttercup.

My Jesus Story – He is REAL and mighty to save. I was pathologically shy growing up. I didn’t speak to anyone (except my family) until 6th grade. 

In my 20’s God gave me a voice to speak of His love, His Word and His Glory. The Bible says, “God uses the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” That feels like me. She speaks?!? How? Only through Holy Spirit. Only through His grace and mercy.

Favorite Music– Crowder, Maverick City, Elevation Worship, Taya and Hillsong, Toby Mac

Quirky stuff – Sam has voiced Princess Peach and Toad in Nintendo’s Mario games since 2007. She has lived in six different countries and seven states. She speaks French and is learning Spanish. She loves a good checklist and thinks chocolate is a food group.
