Pray for unity to achieve the Father’s will

We’re called to be a community of grace doing life together to please the Father. Unity is vital for the health of your community, your country and the world you live in today. As Christ followers, if we don’t protect unity, strive for it and do everything that we can to promote it, we open the gate to the enemy. The enemy will attack and cause ineffectiveness and destruction.
3 reasons we need to pray for unity within our community on frequent and reoccurring basis.
- We desperately need each other.
- The world will see God’s love in us.
- We can do infinitely more together.
That’s what happens here in this family of believers – your Family Life Radio community.
- You pray for each other.
- You give to see that one another’s needs are met.
- You make sure people across the network have exactly what they need so that when God prompts someone to listen, they get the comfort, the peace and the answers from Him at just the right time.
Jesus prayed that we may be brought to complete unity just as He is one with the father. Jesus prayed to God the Father on your behalf. He didn’t pray just for the disciples at that time, but for all believers who would come to receive Him.
God wants to use you to bring about His kingdom on earth.
“I am not praying just for these followers. I am also praying for everyone else who will have faith because of what my followers will say about me. I want all of them to be one with each other, just as I am one with you and you are one with me. I also want them to be one with us. Then the people of this world will believe that you sent me” (John 17:20-21 CEV).
God uses us – imperfect, divided and different people that are passionate about Jesus Christ, the message of the gospel – to bring about His kingdom on earth. This is a community of grace, and a community united in Him.
