Whether brought about by divorce or death\, blending a family can present significant challenges as everyone works to create a home that honors the Lord and supports each person involved. \nTwo things are certain when you’re blending a family: You can’t do it alone\, and you need to surround yourself with people who are committed to doing it well. \nAt Odessa Bible Church\, our goal is to meet you where you are and help you find the tools you need to build a life aligned with God’s Word. We have invited Dr. Deana Thayer and Scott Thayer to lead a seminar designed to help blended families move forward successfully. Oct 2 & 3rd \nDeana and Scott have been walking alongside stepfamilies for over a decade. They are passionate about providing encouragement\, insight\, and Biblical guidance that helps stepfamilies build a foundation that honors God and demonstrates a healthy marriage and family dynamic for the children. \nHaving walked this road themselves—and even written a forthcoming book about their experience—they understand both its challenges and its rewards. \nDuring the seminar\, you’ll discover practical insights\, common pitfalls to avoid\, and biblical principles to follow.
