DESCRIPTION:The Candlelight Service promises to be a beautiful service of Advent and Christmas music that will stir your heart and help prepare you for the Christmas season! The service is designed to tell of the prediction and the birth of Christ through Sacred Scripture Readings and Sacred Music. The service will open and end with the sounding of the shofar! The congregation will play an active part in the singing of traditional carols such as “O Come\, All Ye Faithful\,” “Joy to the World\,” “Hark the Herald\,” “Silent Night” and many more! You will hear sacred favorites such as “Ave Maria” and Gesu bambino” sung by our guest soprano soloist\, Indra Thomas. You will also hear music by John Rutter. There will be lighting of the candles by children and adults alike. You will want to make this event a yearly Christmas tradition!
