DESCRIPTION:TRINITY LUTHERAN TO HOST ANNUAL HARVEST DINNER NOV. 14 \nJACKSON MICHIGAN—While there’s some debate among the faithful of Trinity Lutheran Church just when the parish started hosting harvest dinners\, the popularity of the annual feast is indisputable.\nThis year’s dinner will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday\, Nov. 14\, in the fellowship hall of the church\, 122 W. Wesley St.\nThe meal will feature the traditional fare of roasted pork and sauerkraut\, mashed potatoes and gravy\, homemade applesauce\, green beans\, fresh-baked pie and beverages.\nCost is $12 for adults\, $6 for children ages 5 to 11\, and free for children under 5. Takeout will be available.\nIn addition to dinner\, Christian books\, craft items and boxed greeting cards will be for sale.\nTrinity is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The parish has a 150-year history of serving the community of Jackson and supporting mission work around the world.
