Pray for my family to be comforted and sister to be healed. My brother, Kenneth, died suddenly in a accident. It is hard and hurts. Please pray I won't lose touch with his family and get even more fragmented from them. My baby sister, Loucreasia, has been on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and a ventilator for over 5 weeks. She is bad off and her lungs are messed up. We need a miracle for her. She does not know and can't know about our brother for now. Pray for me. I am just broken. My friend who I will call "K" is in the hospital back east. A co-worker found her slumped in bed after not clocking into work. She had a brain aneurysm but no one knows when it happened because she lives alone at home. She is 72 years old. Her son is marrying my daughter next year. The addiction was rooted out and the lingering thought process changed. I had a relapse in my addiction to meth after I quit rehab. I have counseling lined up by the court system.

My husband and I are dealing with Covid. (Who gets Covid in 2023?? Who gets Covid in the summer of 2023?? When it’s 115+ degrees outside? Us. This strain has been miserable to say the least. Two of our kiddos are also sick with Covid, and that leaves our youngest to fend for himself. He’s 8 and of course independent and can do it all on his own, so he’s happy there’s food he can warm up and no one to bother him. School started for us already, so that leaves them all missing a week of the new year.
My prayer request is for patience! This mama needs all the patience in the world and prayers of healing. Praying this round doesn’t leave any long term Covid issues and praying we can get back to work soon.

Pray for me to have boundaries, wisdom, and protection, as my mother is consistently manipulating me and makes me feel guilty because I don't drop everything when she wants me to. Pray that I will overcome these feelings of false guilt. She has placed me as power of attorney and patient advocate. She expects me to run her to the store or take her shopping when she wants. I work in a doctor's office till 6:00 p.m. and am physically tired many times. She repeatedly says that I don't make time for her but I consistently do things for her, and ask what her needs are. Pray for a way for my water well to be fixed. The plumber came yesterday. He didn't even charge me for coming out. There is nothing he could do as he doesn't do well work anymore. He said my pump is fine, but I need a new screen and that's real expensive as a well driller would need to pull the point to put a new screen and possibly a new point in.
