Lord, I lift up Alan to You tonight. You know his heart, You know his struggles, and You know his desire to follow You. I pray for Your favor as we navigate this legal battle. I ask that You open a door for **healing and rehab** rather than punishment. I pray for the new lawyer, that he would have the wisdom and the fire to fight for what is right and to see the 4th Amendment violations in this case.
I also pray for myself. Help me to trust You even when I can't see the finish line. When my mind is full of 'what-ifs,' remind me of how You carried me through before and brought me home on Christmas Eve. Calm my heart and give me the peace that passes all understanding.
Protect our home, protect the little lives (kittens) Harley is watching over, and keep the 'snakes' and the 'devourers' away from our gate. We trust that Your will is perfect.
