Please pray for someone close to me that God would soften his heart and teach him true empathy and compassion, especially for those who are suffering and grieving after a death.
He struggles to understand others if a situation does not directly affect him, and he expects everyone to always agree with his worldviews. When someone disagrees, he responds with anger, calls people brainless and stupid, and becomes disappointed in anyone — including me — who cannot fully side with him. He has a very high IQ but very low EQ, and it has created a painful pattern in how he treats and views others.
Pray that he would stop going cold and dismissive toward people, especially strangers, and instead learn patience and warmth — particularly toward those who are in pain or going through difficult times.
Lastly, pray for healing in his heart so that he stops hurting those who love him, especially me. And please also pray for my healing, because I can no longer tolerate his dismissiveness, lack of warmth, and the painful words he often says to me.
